Job Description:
Curriculum Development and Instruction:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover foundational skills in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual learners.
- Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to enhance learning.
Classroom Management and Safety:

- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and learning.
- ·Supervise students during transitions, recess, and lunch to ensure their safety.
Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

- Assess student learning through observation, informal assessments, and formal evaluations.
- Communicate student progress and needs to parents and school staff.
- Identify students who may need additional support and implement appropriate interventions.
Parent Communication and Collaboration:

Student Services - Guidance Counselor
St. Francis Elementary School in Humphrey is seeking to hire a student services/guidance counselor position. This position will have academic oversight, provide social and emotional support, strengthen student transitions, and serve as a key liaison between students, families and school staff. Job Description:
- Academic Oversight
- Analyze school-wide performance data, including STAR Reading & Math and Acadience assessments.
- Assist in setting and implementing both school-wide and targeted academic goals.
- Social & Emotional Support
- Provide comprehensive oversight of students’ social and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies to support student development.
- Strengthening School Transitions
- Act as a bridge between elementary and high school to support student readiness.
- Collaborate with high school guidance counselor to introduce career exploration and interest-building opportunities.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Partner with teachers and administrators to maximize student success.
- Serve as a key liaison between students, families, and school staff to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Food Service Director
We are seeking a motivated Food Service Director to oversee and manage the daily operations of our school lunch program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing nutritious meals to students, experience in managing a team, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. As the Food Service Director, you will oversee the food service staff, ensure that food safety, quality, and service standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Food Service staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school nutrition program, including meal preparation, inventory management, and food distribution.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards, including overseeing staff training and maintaining food safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, daily meal counts, and program performance.
Qualifications:
- ServSafe certification required.
- Previous experience in school nutrition, food service, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to food service operations.
- Must be able to meet Safe Environment requirements

Food Service - Cook (part time)
beHumphrey Saint Francis Elementary and Archangels Catholic High School are seeking to hire a dedicated cook to join our school lunch program team. This position offers the potential for advancement to head cook.
Job Description:
- Prepare and serve meals according to recipes and program guidelines.
- Assist in food production records and maintain high standards of food sanitation.
- Support the cafeteria team by helping with food prep, cooking, and cleaning tasks.
- Safely operate large kitchen equipment, or be willing to learn.
- Provide positive role modeling by interacting appropriately with students and staff, demonstrating employability, social, and life skills.
- Participate in annual continuing education/training programs to improve skills.

Hours:
